To mark Islamophobia Awareness Month, We stand together with Islington Council, Islington Faiths Forum and the Hate Crime Forum in solidarity to reiterate that any form of hate crime will not be tolerated.
We celebrate the achievements we’ve made as a Muslim community in Islington and the contributions we’ve made to make a progress in Society.
We will be holding an evening of celebration at Finsbury Park Mosque on Friday 26 November from 6 – 7.30PM, followed by a tour of the mosque.
We warmly invite you to come along and join the celebrations. There will be guest speakers and refreshments, you can meet the local Imam, and have a chance to learn something new about the Islamic Faith and the warmth and generosity with which Muslim community members play a central role in the life of our borough. Book your space on Eventbrite.
Please stand with us against hate crime by signing the Islington Hate Crime Pledge and by encouraging others to take a stand against hate crime too.
